At one time, I designed and built
fiberglass trike bodies, for sale through my company (Custom
Cycle Engineering), but I didn’t have a trike of my own. At the
same time, I developed a really neat adapter that mated s
Sportster frame to a Servicar rear end. This was the beginning
of what became the Harley-Trike industry (which is still
flourishing today). I located a KHR engine. It would easily
pull the rig past the century mark and could cruise all day with
the two wheelers. I rode it for two or three years, and in a
week moment, I sold it. I was buying a house. If I could find
another KHR motor, I’d build it again.
